Dark Marg

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 ounces silver tequila

  • 1 oz orange liqueur (Cointreau, Grand Marnier or Triple Sec)

  • 3/4 ounce lime juice

  • 3-5 shakes Witch’s Elixir bitters

  • Agave nectar or simple syrup, to taste

  • Black lava salt for rimming the glass

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Run a lime wedge (the juicy part) around the top rim of a margarita glass. Fill a plate with salt, then dip the rim

  2. Add tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and bitters to a cocktail shaker with ice

  3. Cover and shake vigorously

  4. Stir in sweetener if desired

  5. Strain into the margarita glass with ice
